Missing Elements is an organization that initiates innovative formats of socio-artistic, educational, support and research activities. We work for an equal, just and sustainable culture in the spirit of feminism, anti-discrimination, anti-racism and social inclusion. We carry out activities in the area of social and cultural issues related to the climate crisis, support for women, groups and individuals at risk of marginalization and social exclusion, innovating in the social ways of art.

  • cultural studies scholar, curator of contemporary art, facilitator, author of texts and art and social projects. From 2009 to 2015 she created the programme of the Arsenal City Gallery in Poznan as curator of exhibitions, events and long-term interdisciplinary projects and editor of the art magazine Punkt . Since 2015 she has curated exhibitions and community projects at the Centre for Contemporary Art Ujazdowski Castle in Warsaw, including Jazdów City Garden (2016-2019, Ujazdowski Castle surroundings); Waiting for the next coming together with Ula Tornau and Jarosław Lubiak, CAC Vilnius and CCA Warsaw. She carries out long-term projects of an interdisciplinary nature, mainly at the interface of contemporary art, activist and social action, urban studies, architecture, botany, zoology and climate science. She has collaborated with the Other Space Foundation on socio-artistic projects (e.g. Transkaukazja, 2015 Warsaw; One Caucasus 2016, Georgia). Co-founder and member of the Culture for Climate collective concerned with the greening of the field of culture and art (www.kulturadlaklimatu.pl). Initiator and coordinator of the Erasmus Plus project „Socially Inclusive Environmental Education for Sustainable Culture and the Arts”; Co-author and curator of the project „Smashing Wor(l)ds: Cultural Practices for re/Imagining & un/Learning Vocabularies” implemented under the EU Creative Europe Program. Graduate of Cultural Studies at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań and Museum Curatorial Studies at Jagiellonian University in Krakow. Founder and President of the Missing Elements Foundation. 

  • Prof. UAM, PhD, works at the Institute of Cultural Studies at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. Author of books: The Body of Film. The medium of the present in the post-war American film avant-garde (2012); Problems of cultural analysis (2017). Co-editor and co-author of the books: Cultural Education as a Public Project?; Artist – Curator – Institution – Recipient; The Curatorial Profession. Co-author of the monograph Cultural Theory and History: The Change of Everyday Life. Expert in cultural education.  Co-founder of the Centre for Educational Practices at CK Zamek in Poznań, long-term operator of the Very Young Culture programme in the Wielkopolska region. Ambassador for cultural education for 2018-2020 for EPALE, the Electronic Platform for Adult Learning. Researcher, cultural educator, evaluator, facilitator and activist. In recent years, she has been co-coordinator of Erasmus Plus Adult Education projects dedicated to environmental education and sustainability in arts and cultural education for adults in need of socio-therapeutic support. She is involved in cultural studies theory and methodology, feminist research, cultural communicological analysis, art based research and research in cultural, anti-discriminatory and inclusive education.   • psychologist, theatre educator, educator, curator of social and educational projects; graduated from the University of Łódź and Warsaw. As a psychologist she works with addicts, people at risk of social exclusion and young people. As an educator, she works in the field of culture and art. She works at the Ujazdowski Castle Art Centre in Warsaw. She cooperates with many institutions, including Ateneum Theatre in Katowice, Lubuski Drama Theatre in Zielona Góra, Biennale Warsaw, Bogusławski Theatre in Kalisz, and the Theatre Institute in Warsaw. Experienced in creating exhibitions and social and artistic projects. She teaches classes with students at SWPS University in Poznan.
